Flight Pass Rules for Philippine Airlines
When you buy a Flight Pass to travel on Philippine Airlines flights, you enter into a contract with Optiontown, hereinafter referred to as "Optiontown" or "OT" and Philippine Airlines, hereinafter referred to as "Philippine Airlines" or "PR".

Your ticketed booking is governed by: Philippine Airlines' or PR's Partner Airline, PAL Express' General Conditions of Carriage the conditions in your ticket or itinerary and receipt, and applicable tariffs and regulations. Philippine Airlines' registered office and principal place of business is at PNB Financial Center, Macapagal Avenue, CCP Complex, Pasay City, Philippines. Avenue, CCP Complex, Pasay City, Philippines.

Your Flight Pass is governed both by these Flight Pass Rules and the Optiontown Terms of Service which constitute the entire agreement between You, Optiontown and PR. In the event of any contradiction between the Optiontown Terms of Service and these Flight Pass Rules, these Flight Pass Rules shall prevail.

DEFINITIONS

"Advance Booking" refers to the minimum number of days or hours required before your Journey for you to make a booking with Flight Pass.
"Booking Class Availability" refers to the eligible booking classes for seat availability at the time of flight booking.

"Cabin" or "Travel Class" or "Class" refers to the class of service, e.g. Economy Class, Premium Economy/Comfort Class and Business Class.
"Customer" refers to one or more persons that have bought a Flight Pass or any of the OT Services.
"Fare Type" refers to the type of fare selected for Flight Pass, namely, 'Economy Super Saver', 'Economy Saver', 'Economy Value', 'Economy Flex', 'Premium Economy/Comfort Class', 'Business Value' and 'Business Flex'. Different amenities and services are available per different fare types, like booking class and availability, flight change, flight cancellation, baggage allowance, frequent flyer miles etc.
"Flight" or "Flights" refers to the flights operated, designated or any combination thereof by Philippine Airlines.
"Number of Flights" refers to the number of one-way Flights you can take between selected destinations. One flight is needed for one Passenger to fly a one-way trip between two selected destinations. Two flights are needed for one Passenger to fly a round trip between two selected destinations.
"Flight Pass" refers to the Flight Pass provided by Optiontown in collaboration with Philippine Airlines under the Flight Pass Service to its Customers which makes them eligible to book Flights which fulfill the criteria mentioned in these Flight Pass Rules.
"Journey" refers to a segment of Flights that may have more than one Flight (like a segment may have both outbound and return Flights or may have connecting Flights).
"Optiontown" refers to the brand name and "www.optiontown.com" refers to the domain name and website of OT.
"OT Services" comprises of the various services offered by OT, wherein each service is in general referred to as "OT Service". Flight Pass is one of the OT Services.
"Passengers(s)" refers to the persons who can book and fly by redeeming Flight Pass.
"Travel Period" refers to the time period you can depart on flights using your Flight Pass. All of your flights can only depart during your selected Travel Period.
"Travel Date Restrictions" or "Blackout Dates" refers to travel dates for which you cannot book a flight with your Flight Pass. Such travel date restrictions may only apply to some or all of the destinations included in your Travel Zone and will be marked clearly in your Flight Pass.
"Travel Zone" or "Zone" refers to a collection of one or more origin and destination airport pairs for which Flight Pass is valid.
"Trip Type" refers to the type of booking (One way or Round-trip) allowed for a Flight Pass.
"You" refers to a Customer or a Passenger whose name has been added to a Flight Pass.

CONDITIONS
1.Purchase of a Flight Pass and subsequent exchange of Flight Pass for ticketed bookings can only be done through the Optiontown website. Changes to your Flight Pass, or any flights booked using your Flight Pass, through airline website, call centers or Airport tickets offices are not allowed. You may approach the airline directly to add Special Service Requests, or for any flight changes or flight delays due to any other irregular operations.
2.Flight Pass Purchase:
Upon completing your Flight Pass purchase:
a.You get the right to book and fly on 'X' one-way flights, departing during the 'Travel Period', for the selected routes of the Flight Pass. (Where X= Number of Flights you have chosen while purchasing the Flight Pass). Flights can be generally booked up to 330 days in advance of the departure date. Flight Pass can be used to only book flights operated by Philippine Airlines or PAL Express.
b.Trip Type - The type of bookings you can redeem depends upon Trip Type. A one-way booking will consume 1 Flight at a time per passenger, and a round trip booking will consume 2 Flights at a time per passenger.
One way and Round trip - Both one way and round trip bookings are permitted with this option.
Round trip only - Only round trip bookings are permitted with this option. One way booking is not permitted.
c.Passengers Name Addition - At least one passenger must be added at the time-of-Flight Pass purchase. You can add the remaining passengers within the specified time limit after purchasing the flight pass as defined below based on the purchased Fare Type. The maximum number of passengers that can be added to a Flight Pass is determined based on the Fare Type selected at the time of buying a Flight Pass.

d.Infant and Children Rule - You agree that Flight Pass is only available for use by adults and children over 2 years of age. Infants with seat may be included in your booking with Flight Pass as under the "adult" category. Infants not occupying a seat must be at least 16 days old and below 2 years old as of the date of commencement of travel. Infant must be accompanied at all times by an able-bodied adult. IInfants without a seat (infant on lap) may only be added after the booking is created by contacting the Optiontown customer care team and paying the appropriate fares, fees and taxes. If you want to reserve a seat for your infant, you may use your Flight Pass credit to book the ticket by having the infant listed as one of the approved passengers in your Flight Pass. Flight Pass price is NON-discountable for children.
e.Special Service Requests (SSRs) - You can add Special Service Requests (SSRs) to your flight, such as special meals, baggage, special requests like wheel chair, disability assistance or others, by contacting Philippine Airlines directly. Please note that Philippine Airlines may levy an additional charge for these additional service requests as per their regular policy and may require a minimum number of hours before the flight for an advance notice for each particular SSR. f.Amenities - You will receive all standard services and amenities associated with your selected cabin class in your designated flight which may be subject to change as per regular airline operating procedures.
g.Baggage Allowance - You are entitled to the following free baggage allowance when you make a booking under Flight Pass:
Carry-on Baggage - 1 handbag up to 7 kg with maximum dimensions 56cm x 36cm x 23cm (22in x 14in x 9in) for all Fare Types.

3.Flight Pass conditions
a.Flight Pass Change - You may change any one or more of the following Flight Pass parameters: Increase Number of Flights, Extend/Postpone/Advance Travel Period, Reduce Advance Booking, Reduce Travel Date Restrictions, Change Travel Zone, etc. by paying the applicable fees and other charges.
b.The allowed changes to Flight Pass can be done after paying nominal change fees and fare difference (if applicable) through Optiontown website only. Changes apply to all the unused flights in your Flight Pass, it is not possible to change a portion of the flights in your Flight Pass. Changes can be done via the Manage My Pass section after login to your Flight Pass account, where you will be able to see total charges before making any change.
c.Passenger Name Correction - Once you have added a name to your Flight Pass, you can only edit free of cost a maximum of 2 misspelled characters in your name by submitting Identification proof. Please make sure that you have added the correct name on the Flight Pass as it appears in the Passenger Passport. Some other changes for passenger name may be allowed by paying applicable fees.
d.Flight Pass is NON-refundable and non-cancelable once purchased. Any payment once paid is NON-refundable under all circumstances. Certain taxes may be refundable if mandated by law.
e.Flight tickets booked using Flight Pass are NON-refundable in all circumstances. No portion of the total Flight Pass price will be refunded in case of any unused Flight credits, except for certain taxes if mandated by law. However, if and only if, the Airline stops flying to a destination or drastically reduces the frequency of flights or a force majeure event occurs, and You have unused (or unflown) flight credits for that destination, then you may request a refund for only the unused Flight Pass credits affected by the drastic flight frequency reduction or force majeure situation. For all refunds, Philippine Airlines will be responsible to refund the amount, however, you will need to contact Optiontown Customer Care via email at customercare@optiontown.com to submit your refund request. Optiontown will contact Philippine Airlines to process the refund. Once Philippine Airlines approves the refund amount, the refund shall thereafter be processed. Notwithstanding anything said to the contrary, if the payment amount related to a Flight Pass has been transferred by Optiontown to Philippine Airlines, then the complete financial responsibility for refund of the paid amount for said Flight Pass rests solely on Philippine Airlines, and Optiontown does not have any responsibility for the refund amount, and Optiontown cannot be held responsible for the refund amount.
f.Flight Pass is NON transferable, and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash. The Journey entitlement under a Flight Pass cannot be altered except as notified otherwise by Optiontown.
g.Flight disruptions: In case a flight booked using Flight Pass is cancelled, delayed or impacted by an irregular operation as defined by the Airline, normal Airline policies and Conditions of Carriage will be applicable.
4.Flight Pass Booking conditions
a.Seat Availability for Flight Booking - You can book flights with your Flight Pass subject to at least 1 seat being available for sale in the respective booking class applicable for your Flight Pass and subject to other terms of your Flight Pass.
b.Manage My Booking - For Flight change, Flight cancel and No show
Free Flight Changes - All flights can be changed free of cost as long as flight changes are performed up to 24 hours before flight departure for International flights and 4 hours before flight departure for Domestic flights.
Free Flight Cancellation allowance - Based on your selected Flight Pass conditions and parameters, you may be allowed to cancel a certain number of your flights at no cost subject to the number of Free Flight Cancel allowed as per the Fare Type of the purchased Flight Pass. The free allowances are defined below:

Number of Free Allowances are calculated as per the percentage value mentioned above, multiplied by the total number of flights in the purchased Flight Pass (and rounded down to the lower integer). For example, a Flight Pass with 10 flights and 30% free flight cancel allowance will allow up to 3 flights to be cancelled free of cost, and a Flight Pass with 15 flights and 30% free flight cancel allowance will allow up to 4 flights to be cancelled free of cost.
Fees for Flight Change/Flight Cancel after Free Allowance and fees for No Show credit reinstatement - After the free allowance, the costs for Flight change and Flight cancel for additional flights are as follows. The No Show credit reinstatement fee is also mentioned below. All fees are applicable per passenger per flight.

Fare Difference for Flight Change - In the event, that the new flight is outside the Flight Pass conditions for the purchased Flight Pass, an additional fare difference may be applicable, in addition to the change fee charged.
Change of passenger name and route change are permitted on a ticket subject to new passenger name and route being already included in your Flight Pass.
Any change or cancellation made to a flight booking less than 24 hours for international and 4 hours for domestic prior to departure or after departure, would be considered as No Show, and No Show charges would be applicable.
No Show Flight credits can be added back to Flight Pass only up to a maximum of 7 days after the flight departure and must be done by contacting Optiontown customer care and after payment of applicable charges. Any request for adding back No Show Flight credits made 8 days or more after the flight departure of the No Show flight shall not be accepted. Coupons will be forfeited.
5. If you experience any difficulty during flight booking or any other functionality on the website, you must contact Optiontown via email (customercare@optiontown.com) before the expiry of your respective deadline subject to your Flight Pass terms. If you fail to contact us before the expiry of the respective deadline, then you cannot hold Philippine Airlines or Optiontown responsible for the consequences of such failure.
6.You agree and understand that the real time price may be lower or higher than the regular price displayed, hence the savings may be more or less than the displayed amount. You agree and confirm unconditionally that you have taken the informed decision with the clear understanding and knowledge of the above. You irrevocably and unconditionally agree that you will not hold Optiontown and/or Philippine Airlines responsible in any manner whatsoever for any difference in regular prices and/or savings displayed and you cannot cancel the Flight Pass due to this.
7.Flight Pass price includes the base fare, taxes (except for the Philippine Travel Tax charged for international flights departing from the Philippines) and fees for all the Flights purchased, excluding any surcharges that may be levied for payment which will be shown to you at the time of making final payment. In addition, your bank may charge additional fees due to bank charges/ conversion charges/ credit charges etc. as per their policy. Service fees may apply for changes to your Flight Pass or for changes to your bookings. However, in the event of a change in applicable government and/or any third party taxes and fees between the time of Flight Pass purchase and the time of actual flight booking, You will be charged the additional taxes either at the time of flight booking or at the airport before departure subject to operating procedures. The Philippine Travel Tax for international flights departing the Philippines will be paid upon check-in.
8.Flight Pass prices may vary across different Customers whether booked on the same flight and having the same parameters.
9.You agree and understand that the tickets You will purchase under Flight Pass, which allows for up to 50% savings, are promotional or discounted tickets. As such, discounts such as Children, Senior Citizen, PWD, Student, National Athletes/Coaches and Military discounts, and the like, shall not be applicable to ticketed bookings under Flight Pass as per the relevant laws/regulations on said discounts. You may contact Optiontown customer care in case you want to purchase a Flight Pass with SRC/PWD VAT exemption for domestic flights.
10.Flight Pass bookings are based on last seat availability. You understand that if a flight is fully booked and therefore no vacant seats are available, you will not be able to make a booking on that flight using your Flight Pass.
11.Specific policies and rules, if applicable to Philippine Airlines, will be displayed under the Flight Pass Rules and would accordingly be applicable to you.
12.The total Flight Pass amount paid will appear in your credit card bill under the name of Optiontown. Customers agree that they cannot challenge or dispute a charge in the event that the Customer's issuing bank assigns a different name or code to Optiontown as merchant in the credit card bill.
13.If you have purchased one or more ancillary services with the airline and if you would like to change your flight booked under Flight Pass after purchasing those ancillary services, then you would need to contact Philippine Airlines to rebook those ancillary services on your new flight which will be subject to availability and change/refund policy of the new flight. Philippine Airlines does not guarantee that these ancillary services will be available on the new flight. Visit the PAL Travel Extras page to learn more.
14.You are responsible for obtaining and holding all required travel documents and visas and for complying with all applicable laws, rules, and government regulations, and travel requirements of all countries to be flown from, to or through which you transit. PAL and/or OPtiontown shall not be liable to you for any aid or information given by any agent or employee in connection with obtaining the necessary travel requirements or for your failure to obtain such travel requirements.
15.To the extent permissible by local law or regulation, these Flight Pass Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of New York, USA. Philippine Airlines and each Customer/Passenger submits to NON-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New York, USA to resolve any disputes that may arise out of them.
16.Any provision of these Flight Pass Rules, if declared void or unenforceable by any competent authority or court shall, to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, be deemed severable and shall not affect the other provisions remaining which shall continue unaffected.
17.Optiontown and/or Philippine Airlines accept no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computer malfunctions, viruses, bugs or other such causes. Optiontown is in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web site or home page access, which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with Flight Pass.
18.After the purchase of Flight Pass, in the interest of your security and fraud prevention, you may be contacted by Optiontown and/or Philippine Airlines to request some documents for verification purpose and in case those documents are not provided then your Flight Pass purchase may be put on HOLD or canceled including any booked flights. Optiontown is the sole official partner of Philippine Airlines to provide Flight Pass and is a secure channel that is capable to receive customer's documents for security and verification purpose.
19.Philippine Airlines may also ask you to provide customer and/or payment information at the check in counter for verification purposes. If the requested documents are not provided or0 Philippine Airlines is unable to verify you as the customer or your payment information, then Philippine Airlines may refuse your acceptance to the flight at your own risk and all your future tickets may be canceled. Optiontown and Philippine Airlines will have no liability in such cases and it will be up to the customer to provide sufficient documents as requested by Philippine Airlines and Optiontown in order to verify the customer and payment information.
20.Flight Pass tickets can earn Mabuhay Miles once flown subject to the Mabuhay Miles Terms and Conditions.
21.Optiontown together with Philippine Airlines reserve the right to change these Flight Pass Rules at any time.
