Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with Optiontown, presents Xtra Baggage Option (XBo) which offers you a chance to conveniently carry extra weight exceeding the standard baggage allowance on your flight at a substantially low price, making your journey a lot more comfortable and within your budget. To become eligible for carrying extra baggage, you must have a confirmed booking with Vietnam Airlines. You can buy up to 10 extra standard bags passenger of maximum 23kg/50lbs each and total dimensions of 158cm/62in.

So, carry extra weight on one or more of your flights without compromising on your luggage requirements and make your travel experience more enjoyable and stress-free!

How does it work?

If you are booked on Vietnam Airlines, retrieve your booking details on vietnamairlines.optiontown.com at least 6 (six) hours before flight departure and buy Xtra Baggage by selecting the number of extra bags you want to carry and pay a nominal price (thus enjoying savings compared to regular extra baggage price).

Steps to buy Xtra Baggage Option (XBo)

Visit vietnamairlines.optiontown.com and select Xtra Baggage Option (XBo).
Enter your booking details (PNR or booking reference, passenger last name and email) to retrieve your booking. If you don't have your PNR handy, use the 'Advanced Search' to retrieve your booking details.
Select the desired number of extra bags on any one or more flights for a nominal price.
Review and make the payment.
You will receive your email confirmation within 30 minutes.
