What is XBo? How does it enhance travel experience?
| XBo enables you to carry Extra Baggage at a low price that fits your budget and lets you have a much more relaxed and comfortable travel. We offer different types of Extra Baggage choices depending upon your airline and flight. For example, on some airline flights XBo offers you Extra Baggage in increments of weights like 5KG, 10KG, 20KG, 30KG etc., while on other airline flights, XBo offers you to choose Xtra Bags like 1 Xtra Bag, 2 Xtra Bags etc. | | Example | | a) | Sam and his family are booked for a holiday trip to Las Vegas. They want to carry some extra belongings required during their vacation. | | b) | Even with his limited budget, Sam is able to secure Extra Baggage using XBo. He signs-up for XBo and picks the 20KG option. | | c) | Within 2 hours after the sign-up, Optiontown confirmed his 20Kg Extra Baggage Option and notified him via email. | | d) | Sam and his family were ecstatic to travel with all their desired belongings and had a fun holiday trip. | |

Does XBo guarantee that I will be allowed to carry Extra Baggage?
Yes, after Optiontown has notified you the confirmation for XBo assignment, the XBo guarantees allowance of Extra Baggage as per your selection. In the event, you are not assigned Extra Baggage, the XBo price for that flight will be automatically refunded to you within five business days after flight departure.

What's the price for XBo?
You pay a small Sign-up price (around $1 or so) and a nominal XBo price. The exact price depends on various factors depending upon the route, flight date, peak/off-peak season etc. You can obtain the exact price by retrieving your booking on optiontown.com.

How much Extra Baggage can I purchase by using XBo?

What are the eligibility criteria for XBo? Which flights can I select as XBo flight?
The only eligibility criterion is that you must have a confirmed booking with one of our airline partners where we are offering XBo.

The XBo availability is dynamic and you will need to actually retrieve your booking on our website to check the XBo availability at that time. If XBo is not available on your desired flight, please feel free to check back later as it may become available later.

How do I get my refund if I am not assigned Extra Baggage via XBo?
You need not take any action to receive your refund. In the event, you are not assigned Extra Baggage, the Extra Baggage price for that flight will be automatically refunded to you within five business days after flight departure.

Do I get a refund if I do not actually carry Extra Baggage even after my XBo Extra Baggage has been confirmed by Optiontown?
No. You will not receive any refunds if you do not carry Extra Baggage after you have been assigned Extra Baggage by Optiontown.

How can I check my XBo status or get to know if I am assigned the Extra Baggage or not?
Once Optiontown has decided to grant you Extra Baggage via XBo, your booking will be edited in the airline reservations system to reflect the same. You can check your XBo status anytime on Optiontown website by retrieving your booking.
