The Empty Seat Option (or ESo) allows you to enjoy extra space and comfort in economy class for a very nominal price. The Empty Seat Option offers you a chance to acquire empty seat(s) next to your seat, thereby, creating your own Virtual Private cabin (3 seats to yourself). You'll have the exclusive right to use the assigned seats throughout the duration of your flight. Stretch out, relax, sleep flat comfortably or do your work with more room and privacy. With Empty Seat Option, you'll arrive at your destination refreshed, active and ready to go.

How does it work?

	If you have a booking with Volaris, you can sign-up online for Empty Seat Option by paying a nominal price.
	You will be notified via email of your Empty Seat or FlatBed assignment usually 1 to 3 days but no later than 4 hours before the flight departure. If not assigned, your Empty Seat Price will be refunded to you within 5 days after the flight departure.

	Easy to move ESo in case of a flight change - If you change your flight before you are assigned Empty Seats, you can easily move your Empty Seat Option to the new flight. To do so, visit Manage My Option section once you have logged on to Optiotown.com. Nominal fees apply.

Steps to get an Economy FlatBed or Empty Seat

Visit Optiontown.com and select the Empty Seat tab.
Enter your booking details (PNR or booking reference, passenger last name and email) to retrieve your booking. If you don't have your PNR handy, use the 'Advanced Search' to retrieve your booking with your flight details.
Select desired number of Empty Seats/Flatbeds for your flights.
Select desired number of Empty Seats for your flight.
Review and make the payment to complete your ESo Sign-up.
You will be notified via email of your Empty Seat Flatbed assignment usually 1 to 3 days but no later than 4 hours before the flight departure. If not assigned, the empty seat price will be refunded to you within 5 days after the flight departure.
